Make up pouch
This is the cutest & easiest make up pouch at
http://www.noodle-head.com/2010/10/scrappy-make-up-pouch-tutorial_20.html
It is called a scrappy make up pouch.
I love having pouches in my purse to hold items. Example: one might have lipstick & hand lotion, another might have a pen & my emery board. If they are different colors, you can easily access the item you want without rifling thru your entire purse contents. I am away from home, but I can't wait to get home so that I can make one!
I might even purchase pieces of clothing at the thrift store, to use as fabric! The other day I bought a little girl's dress for one dollar ( it was a day when that color tag was half price!). it had a zipper, some decorative trim, and several buttons, in addition to the fabric. These items can be added to my stash & used for other projects!

Pennsylvania fun
Enjoyed more of Lancaster, Pennsylvania area today. Sure do have some lovely quilts! Rainy, messy day; but we had a good time anyway.
Hope to be back to sewing when I get home.

New blogger!
Yes I am new to blogging, so be patient with me :)
We have been gone from home for quite awhile now, but yes, I have been sewing even while traveling. Gus did agree to let me bring 'nette w/ me! (that's her name & she lives under the bed in "Dustie" (that's the motor home's name).
